Walnut Cinnamon Energy Bites with Cayenne

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 0 minutes Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 dates, pitted

  • 2 tablespoons water*

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed

  • 1/2 cup Redstart Nut Butter

  • 1 cup quick oats

Preparation:

  1. In a food processor combine dates, water, maple syrup, salt and cinnamon. Puree until a paste starts to form. Scrape date mixture into a bowl.

  2. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix together. Form into balls with your hands and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

    *It may be necessary to add in a teaspoon or two more water if your mixture is still a little crumbly.
