Walnut Cinnamon Energy Bites with Cayenne

Ingredients:
6-8 dates, pitted
2 tablespoons water*
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
1/2 cup Redstart Nut Butter
1 cup quick oats
Preparation:
In a food processor combine dates, water, maple syrup, salt and cinnamon. Puree until a paste starts to form. Scrape date mixture into a bowl.
Add remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix together. Form into balls with your hands and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
*It may be necessary to add in a teaspoon or two more water if your mixture is still a little crumbly.
