Goldfinch Burger with Arugula, White Cheddar and Garlic Aioli

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

4 tablespoons Goldfinch nut butter

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

4 slices white cheddar cheese

4 hamburger buns, toasted with butter

2 cups baby arugula

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 small garlic clove

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation:

  1. Mix ground beef, nut butter and salt together and form into 4 patties.

  2. Heat a grill, broiler, or saute pan and cook the hamburgers for 3 to 5 minutes on each side until almost done. Top beef patties with sliced cheese during the last minute.

  3. Whisk mayo, garlic, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste to make the garlic aioli. Spread aioli liberally on hamburger buns. Place hamburger patties on bun with the arugula. Enjoy!
