Whole Wheat Quetzal Pancakes
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter/oil
1 1/4 cups whole milk
3/4 cup Quetzal nut butter
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder. Once well combined add the remaining wet ingredients.
Heat a pan over medium low heat. Add a small pat of butter to the pan. Scoop the batter into the pan. When the batter starts to bubble and the edges look dry, flip the pancake. Cook for 2 minutes on the other side.
Take the pancakes out of the pan and serve with toppings of choice.
Topping ideas: bananas, berries, powdered sugar, berry or maple syrup. whipped cream and chocolate chips
